On October 15th Susie and I took Ridge to TFH to have tubes put in his ear. He was excited, but for us parents, this experience was not exciting. We were nervous to have our little boy put under for “surgery” even though it was minor. Well, the staff at TFH made it a pleasant experience and calmed our nerves. Not only was everyone overly polite and kind, but they also made the whole experience surprisingly fun. The highlight of our experience was the RN Cindy. Not only did she make us feel like she sincerely cared about us and our son, but she made us laugh and smile through the entire pre-op process. She took the scare and unpleasant part of a hospital visit out of the whole experience. What surprised us the most was her personalized and very thoughtful get well card she sent to Ridge after the surgery. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful hospital with amazing staff right here in our “little town of Truckee.”
