The Brockway Springs area includes Brockway Hot Springs, a gated and exclusive area of luxury lakefronts with excellent amenities. Facilities include a year-round swimming pool heated directly by natural hot springs, a children's wading pool, fitness room, tennis courts, club house, saunas and a fishing and boating dock, all next the crystalline waters of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Some of the elegant homes actually have hot springs pumped in. Some architectural styles lean toward an Asian influence or Zen elegance by architect Loring Sagan. Located across the highway are other Brockway neighborhoods with older cabins built in the early days of Tahoe. The charm of Old Tahoe lives on in the rolling hills of nearby Old Brockway with beach access and lots of hiking trails nearby. The properties on the other side of Highway 28 are adjacent to many hiking trails. This area is as close to the Nevada casinos as one can get on the California side of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
